Aoki Ume Art Exhibition
Hello everyone and welcome to a quick event information guide on Tiro Finale. As revealed in an our previous spotlight, the Aomori Art Museum will be playing host to the Aoki Ume Art Exhibition all throughout the months of winter. This promises to be an exciting event for both Madoka Magica and Hidamari Sketch fans as this is only the third time the event has been held since 2015.
Aoki Ume-sensei's claim to fame is of course her prolific works as the mangaka of Hidamari Sketch and the main character designer for Puella Magi Madoka Magica. As such, it is no surprise that these two sereis would be the highlight of the Art Exhibition together with other personal artworks. Aside from many previously unreleased work, the exhibition will also have on sale various exclusive merchandise commemorating the event.
The event will run for approximately three months, 16th December 2017 till 12th February 2018, and will take place in the winter wonderland of Aomori. Ticket prices are as follows:
- Adults - 2,100 Yen (special ticket), 1,300 Yen (normal ticket), 1,100 Yen (early bird)
- Middle/High School Students - 1,900 Yen (special ticket), 1,100 (normal ticket, 900 Yen (early bird)
- Elementary School Students - 1,500 Yen (special ticket), 700 Yen (normal ticket), 500 Yen (early bird)
The early bird tickets have long since past (23rd of September was the final deadline) but, the special tickets are still available which come with extra goodies. The exhibition itself will be open from 9:30 a.m. till 5 p.m. everyday with final admission being 30 minutes before the closing time.
