Nesoberi Chronicles 13 - The Reunion

Hello everyone and welcome back to Tiro Finale for another chapter of the Nesoberi Chronicles. After vacating my previous residence for good (as covered in the previous chapter), it was time for me to head home and, for the first time in almost two years, have a proper reunion with all of my Nesoberi and plush toys. The first thing I am greeted upon getting back is the sight of a sleeping Honoka Nesoberi and a diligent Hanekawa who has been keeping all the little critters in check.

Even the little Tanya who are often very mischievous were well behaved and kept their destruction as minimal as possible. This may or may not have anything to do with the constant threat of Honoka trying to munch on them while she is asleep. Either way, the squad of Tanya(s) remain to be as energetic as ever and now, with the big one back, I am sure they would be planning something new.

Returning home also means the introduction of some new faces, in this case there is yet another Eli-chi in the mix! As is, there is already a pajamas Eli who spends her full time with pajamas Nozomi. Now with the addition of the Snow-halation Eli, how would Nozomi feel?

Not too bad apparently as she seems to very much enjoy the company of multiple Eli-chi(s). Even Rin and Honoka decided to join on the fun as well. It sure is lovely to see the Love Live gang all in one place back again.

Mami-chan who is a relative new comer to the berry family especially the one from my original home was a little shy to mingle at first. But it did not take too long for her to fit in with the rest of the fluffy crowd who welcomed their first magical girl with open arms.

Speaking of magic, Tanya had finally returned to her original habitat which she once laid claim to before being forcefully shipped off to a new place. While she did not waste time in conquering her new place then, she made quick work of asserting dominance back here too.

Seeing two Eli(s) around certainly made Tanya a little cross too as she wondered if this was some magical work of Being X which we all know she despised greatly. After trying to interrogate Eli-chi to no end, Tanya finally gave up and like she did in Isekai Quartet paid no heed to the clone Eli that she had before her. It did not take her long to get used to her "new" surroundings.

While it seemed that Tanya is always angry all the time, this could not be further from the truth. As when she is alone or with Rin, her playful side would some time manifest. Here seen with Rin playing hide and seek. Although, she would later dismiss that as being an exercise in urban camouflage.

For the brief time that it was, I really enjoyed having all the Nesoberi(s) and plushies back together in one big family. What started out with just a single pajamas Nozomi Mega Jumbo Nesoberi quickly grew out of hand as one by one they started joining the family. Nevertheless, I have absolutely no regrets collecting them as these massive plushies are perhaps one of the best value for money collectibles I have every got my hands on with the non-exclusive ones only setting me back approximately 1,500 Yen each.

While it was definitely nice to have the big happy family together once again, it was unfortunately not to be for a long time as I would soon have to pack up and move for my new job.
