SIF Coverage - Magnetic Today

The new event has started and, as expected, it is a Nico Token Event entitled "Magnetic Today". The event will run from the 14th till the 24th of October 2016 for a total of ten days running. This time, the spotlight shines on Yazawa Nico and the theme is Autumn. Without wasting any time, let us take a closer look at the inner workings of this event.

Being a Token Event, players will only need to collect 11,000 event points to unlock the first copy of SR Autumn Nico. True to the theme, Nico is dressed in preparation of the coming winter with the leaves starting to turn red and brown. 

Signature to Token Events, there are additional rewards for Event Ranking and Song Ranking respectively. Event Ranking Rewards are identical to every other SIF Event with Tier 1 and Tier 2 having the most lucrative rewards cutting off at 1100th and 5500th place respectively. Within these two tiers, players will be able to unlock a second copy of SR Autumn Nico allowing you to idolize her while gaining an extra skill slot.

On the other side of things, there are the Song Ranking Rewards which mainly center on Scouting Tickets as its lucrative reward. But, with the merge of the Korean Server, qualifying for Tier 2 and above has become really difficult.

Meanwhile, the event song this time is Zurui yo Magnetic Today a.k.a. the unofficial NicoMaki song. The song is in a Cool Attribute with the Expert difficulty song having 537 notes. In order to play the event songs players will need to collect tokens which these time are, Acorns!

As a closing reminder, KLab is now offering special Packs in commemoration of 30 Million players playing the game. Two of these special packs are, the School Idol Starter Pack for both Muse and Aqours. The details of each pack are as described above for the Muse version;

And the Aqours version. While I am usually a Free-to-Play player, I am tempted to pay the small US2.99$ fee for what seems like rather good value.
