SIF - Companion Match Round 2

Hello everyone and welcome back to Tiro Finale! It has been a while since we featured some School Idol Festival related content here on the blog including our usual content coverage on the live events. All of that has changed however with the release of the latest event on the WW server, Companion Match Round 2, an event that I had been waiting for a very long time as I am sure many fans of the game have been too.

Why? Because this will be the pivotal event which features both SR Military Kotori and Nozomi. And to top it all off, they both look really good in their normal and idolized forms. Fans of Kotori would rejoice as she is unlocked as a Completion Reward by collecting event points. The first copy comes in at 25,000 Event Points.

While the second copy is unlocked further down at 60,000 copies allowing for an idolized version without the need of stickers. For those who want to bring it even further and get a 4-SIS slot Kotori, a third copy is available at 100,000 event points. 

On the other hand, SR Military Nozomi is unlocked via Event Rankings. The only way to ensure two copies for seamless idolization is to qualify for Tier 2 (Top 6100 places) and to get a 4-SIS slot Nozomi, Tier 1 (Top 1200) is a must. I had certainly toyed with the idea of qualifying for Tier 1 but seeing as to how Nozomi's stats and skills are mediocre at best, I would be more than satisfied with the idolized card.

This is only the second Companion Match to have been held for the WW server. As such, many players would be unfamiliar with the event and its rather complicated objectives and goals. Playing the event itself is fairly simple, just think of it as a reverse Score Match where the goal is to get the combined highest combo/score. It is the added group objective which makes things more interesting as it promotes players to play more and get a higher overall score and unlock lucrative prizes such as Love Gems.

The event will run for 10 days up till the 28th of May which is just a week before Nozomi's birthday. In which case, Nozomi's birthday scouting box will also be released. Another thing I will need to save up my Love Gems for after my disastrous encounter with RNG.
