The Mandarake Haul Preview

Hello everyone and welcome back to Tiro Finale for a short preview of things to come. Having returned home from Tokyo during the rush hour, I looked down at the bags that I was carrying and asked the question, how did this all go wrong? Indeed, one does not just simply pay a visit to Mandarake anywhere and Japan and expect to walk away empty handed. This, is just such story about an unassuming customer entering Mandarake and leaving with way more than expected. 

Even if one has carefully taken stock of all that is available in any given Mandarake store prior to visiting, the store still has its weird and wonderful way of marveling all those who visit it. Be it the items in-store which are unlisted online to the newly added additions fresh of the re-selling counter or even the great steals you had not noticed online, Mandarake always has its way of convincing you to part with your hard earned cash. And my most recent tour to Mandarake's Complex in Akihabara was no exception with me leaving with pockets a whole lot lighter and a very big bag.

Normally, any sane folk would just call it a day and head on home after embarking on a massive shopping spree at one of the major hobby stores. Instead, I decided to pay a visit to the nearby Lashinbang just across the road to see if anything new had been added to this popular re-seller's store. Located on the ground flour of Akiba Culture Zone, Lashinbang is probably one of the most popular stores in Akihabara both among locals and foreigners. You would normally find the foreigners around the figure section while, the locals can mostly be found around the trinkets and apparel section. There is a good reason for that, Lashinbang's figures are not the cheapest around town whereas their trinkets and apparels are one of the the lowest in prices. Needless to say, I did not walk out of the store empty-handed. Not wanting to hemorrhage my finances any further, I decided to head straight for the JR station and make my way home. That was a good decision.

With hauls from two separate stores in a single occasion, the upcoming haul post will be a rather lengthy one split into two parts.
