Late September Haul

What is in the box?
Hello everyone and welcome back to another haul post on Tiro Finale! Today, we will be taking a look at one final haul for the month of September before wrapping the month up and looking forward to the released of the next month. September has been a fairly memorable month of collection for me, having gotten my first ever Ghost in the Shell figure and several rare Mami trinkets. So, what did I get this time around?

While there are no new Mami merchandise in sight, I am sure these two new additions will be instantly recognizable to fans of the Love Live and Ghost in the Shell series.

The first item on the list is the re-released figma Kusanagi Motoko Stand Alone Complex Version by Good Smile Company and Max Factory. In conjunction with the theatrical release of the live-action movie, GSC decided to reissue this figure for release in late August. Max Factory actually produced two figma(s) of Motoko, the Stand Alone Complex version, seen here, in 2015 (and later 2017) and the Arise version in 2016.

While the live-action Hollywood movie was not exactly a critical or commercial success, the same can not be said about the Stand Alone Complex series. This particular re-release of the Major is exactly identical to the original release which in itself was based of Motoko from the second season of the Stand Alone Complex anime, minus the hefty 10,000 Yen price tag. Ghost in the Shell figure have a tendency to creep up in price on the re-seller's market with this particular figma previously selling for 10,000 Yen on Mandarake. I wonder if something similar will happen to these iterations of Motoko figures?

My Nesoberi addiction continues with a new member of Muse being added to the plush toy collection. This particular one, the School Idol Festival Thanksgiving 2016 Version, is one that I have had my eye on for quite a while. With only 2,000 units available worldwide, I snatched this Jumbo Nesoberi Honoka the moment she popped up on Mandarake's Sapporo store.

Opting for SAL shipment, this was probably the longest wait I had to endure for an SAL package having taken three weeks to arrive. But when it finally arrived, the wait was all worth it as this was one of the prized pajamas version Nesoberi that were an exclusive collaboration between Sega and, the mobile game, School Idol Festival.

Honoka can sleep anywhere.
While it may not have been a Mega Jumbo Nesoberi, the Jumbo Nesoberi is still a rather sizable plush toy measuring. Put next to figma Motoko's box, you get a rough scale of this Nesoberi's size. She may still be wrapped in plastic but, very soon, those will be removed for an upcoming review.

And I mean anywhere.
Total expenditure for this haul? 6,700 Yen. The breakdown goes to 2,000 Yen in favor of Honoka and the remaining 4,700 Yen to Motoko. As always, if you have any questions about the haul or the products within it, do not hesitate to ask me in the comments section below. Until the next time, thank you so much for reading and have yourself a wonderful day ahead!
