UR Idol Outfit Nozomi
Hello everyone and welcome back to Tiro Finale for more School Idol Festival content. Following a lucky encounter with Nozomi's Birthday Scout, I decided to put my newly obtained UR Idol Outfit Nozomi to good use. Read on as we put this new member through her paces and find out the best way to make the most out of a single copy UR.
Unidolized, the UR Idol Outfit Nozomi can appear rather bland with Nozomi brandishing a pair of spectacles and her Otonokizaka school uniform set in a classroom. There really is not much to talk about and, even among Nozomi fans, this card's design is generally considered to be rather underwhelming.
Stats wise, this Nozomi UR's primary stat is Smile with a Healer Skill. And it is this aspect where Nozomi truly shines. We will discuss more about her Smile stats later down the road but, her healing skill, Just Like This..., restores Stamina by 5 for every time it triggers. Definitely something worth having as a part of your team composition in Challenge Festivals and extra difficult Master songs.
Of course, to make the most out of any member in School Idol Festival, it is of paramount importance that you idolize them first. Normally, I would recommend using an identical member for Special Practice as this not only saves resources but, the resultant idolized member also gains an additional Skill Slot.
Unfortunately, as is the case with many URs, I only have a single copy to spare. At a 1% rate, the odds of getting an identical UR is astronomically low. For that reason, I will be using S Stickers as the substitute of choice for this Special Practice. You can opt to use other types of stickers as well with varying quantities required depending on the rarity of the sticker.
With 25 S Stickers set aside, UR Idol Outfit Nozomi has been successfully idolized! Much better. It was only after I had idolized Nozomi did I realize that she is sitting on a capital N character, a really nice touch I must say.
With Special Practice complete, there was the matter of bringing Nozomi up to speed in terms of levels. With 100 levels to go through, now was as a good as any time to use the many Alpacas that I have been stock-piling over the years. In fact, the amount it took to level up Nozomi till a 100 hardly put a dent in my Alpaca reserve thanks to the generous Medley Festival rewards.
Once you achieve Level 100, Nozomi will be sporting 5,330 Smile Points making her the 6th best UR Smile member. Being a UR card, Nozomi also has a maximum bond of 1000 points which is additive towards her final Smile point score. Her leader skill, Smile Angel, only grants an additional boosts to 3rd Year Members which may be a little bit of a crutch and something that needs to be put into consideration if you field her as your center.
In terms of Skill, I decided to go with the very reliable Smile Veil. It uses up 4 slots and provides a flat point boost to the rest of your team. Because UR members come as base with 4 skill slots, this makes the extremely versatile members which can be idolized with out the need of allocating more resources into unlocking their skill slots.
Here is a closer look at Nozomi in her unidolized form. The corresponding pair for this card is Honoka which, you guessed it, plays the part of the student. It is a nice reference to the anime where Honoka's grades was not doing too well and the other girls, Nozomi included, stepped in to help them focus on their studies.
Where the unidolized version is bland and simple, the idolized version is the exact opposite. Bright, colorful and lively, the idolized version is a rainbow of colors which just serves to fit Nozomi's purple hairstyle all the more. This is further emphasized with her mini top hat, animal ears headband and her cheeky expression. Prior to this, I never thought much of this particular UR Nozomi partly because of her unidolized version. Now that I have her though, I certainly am glad for it especially with this splendid idolized design that fits into the Smile attribute so perfectly.
In terms of positioning, Nozomi would fit perfectly into a Perfect Lock team as the sole or duo of Healers that you would like to employ to cover your back in more difficult Master songs or Challenge Festival songs where the objective requires you to complete the song with Full Stamina. Depending on the situation, you may swap her in and out or keep her in the center position as a solid anchor UR.
With that, I am now one step closer to completing my UR collection for Nozomi. Hopefully the next time I delve into the scout lottery, luck would shine upon me as it did with the Birthday Scout. Until the next time, thank you so much for reading and have yourself a wonderful day ahead!
