New Mami & Madoka Magica Nesoberi Announced!
Hello everyone and welcome to Tiro Finale for some big Madoka Magica news! After what has felt like an eternity since the last Mami merchandise release, we finally have some news on new merchandise that will be hitting the stores soon. And our savior comes in the form of Sega's awesome Mega Jumbo Nesoberi plush toys. Moreover, it is not just Mami fans who have a reason to celebrate as both Sakura Kyouko and Miki Sayaka will be immortalized as lovely, fluffy Nesoberi(s) too. Here is all the information you need about this upcoming release!
Scheduled for a release in August 2018, these three will the latest addition of Nesoberi(s) following Madoka and Iroha's introduction as Nesoberi(s) earlier this year. Their August release would also make them the next line of Nesoberi(s) to be available in the arcade following the Love Live Snow-halation and Love Live Sunshine Training Outfit series of Mega Jumbo Nesoberi(s). Yes, you read that right, Mega Jumbo designations means these plushies will measure 40 cm in length and more than 20 cm in height!
Being a Sega release, these Nesoberi(s) are primarily intended as arcade prizes with your best bet to find them as rewards in UFO Catcher machines. But if you have ever tried playing for a Nesoberi(s) or any similarly large plush with these crane games before, you would know just how difficult of an ordeal it is. To make your life simpler, my recommendation is to get these giant character plushes at any of the major hobby stores in Tokyo. Where you would normally spend upwards of 2,000 Yen in the arcade, these Mega Jumbo Nesoberi(s) can often be gotten for ~1,500 Yen in stores with a cost price of 800 Yen each. Understandably, more popular characters would fetch an even higher price, sometimes up to 3,000 Yen, and will also sell out faster.
Obviously for many, the option of getting it in stores or in arcades in Japan would be pretty much out of the equation. In that event, your next best option is to keep a close eye on online hobby stores especially Mandarake which will be your best bet on getting these adorable plushies at a reasonable price, reliably. Words simply cannot describe the excitement of finding out that not one but, two, Mami plushes will be released this year. With August just around the corner, I cannot wait to get my hands on my first ever Mami Mega Jumbo Nesoberi.
