Love Live Halloween Girl: Muse Edition

Hello everyone and welcome back to Tiro Finale after our prolonged hiatus! Our first article back in duty will be covering the recently concluded Halloween Girl Election for School Idol Festival. The voting window may have ended but, we are still awaiting the final results for the election. As such, I would like to take this time to cover a little retrospective about the event itself seeing as to how Elections are a relatively new thing for us on the Worldwide Server.

First beginning with the Summer Girl Elections, the Halloween Girl Election is a natural progression from the summer celebration to another equally celebrated event in the Japanese annual calendar. Just like the first election, they will be split into two groups, Muse and Aqours. To woo them onto your side, each member has a short speech prepared too gain your precious vote.

No doubt, amusement parks are more interesting during the period surrounding Halloween, especially in Japan, where parks put in a great amount of effort into celebrating the event as well as attracting more visitors.

I like how Eli's speech ties in nicely to her love of chocolates and the Trick and Treat tradition that is popular in the West. Eli does have a very popular Halloween version in both the anime and game so, it is not unlikely for her to be a popular choice.

Muse's costume designer, Kotori, is always thinking of the latest designs for school idol outfits but, wearing jack-o'-lanterns as a hat seems a bit much, no?

The more straight-laced Umi may not be the perfect fit for the season of costumes and horror but, Umi fans will stop at nothing to prove otherwise!

Just like Summer, Rin is also a surprisingly good match for Halloween. Probably because she is such a good sport and always willing to try all sorts of different new things?

Maki's mysterious personality makes her one of the more perfect choices for the Halloween season especially with her having several popular Halloween outfits both in the anime and the game. She even has a little story campaign dedicated to a horror story of sorts too!

Nozomi's speech seemingly has nothing to do about Halloween but, I am sure Nozomi is a potential front runner for this election with her character's various similarities to the season. From her interest in fortune telling to her various popular Halloween outfits, Nozomi certainly has the potential to be one of this year's Halloween girls.

Hanayo attempts to appeal your heart directly as she pulls from the mystic power of Halloween. Will it work? Well, only your votes will tell.

Unsurprisingly, Nico looks to the kind who will really enjoy the Halloween season especially with all of her younger siblings. Perhaps she will be the once to secure the title of this year's Halloween girl?

My final vote went to Nozomi, as expected, as we wait patiently for the results of the election be revealed. After you have cast your vote for one group, make sure to head over to the other and cast your vote too. So, who did you vote for in this year's Halloween Election? Let us know in the comments section below.

In our next installment, we will be taking a look at the Aqours Voting segment and what each member has to say in their bid to become this year's selected one. Until then, thank you so much for reading and have yourself a wonderful day ahead!
