SIF Coverage - Score Match Round 23 Conclusion

Just like that, Score Match Round 23 has finally come to an end after 10 days of competition. This time around, things were not too wild with everything falling well within the limits of the predicted cutoffs. Does this say anything about Mari and Kanan's popularity within the SIF EN Server? Probably not as Aqours is still relatively new all things considered. Still, it is worth taking a closer look at the final scores and a closer look at SR Diving Mari as the event comes to a close. Without further ado, let us dive straight into it!

Starting with the Top 5 positions, we spot individuals who are fairly well known for being on the top of the leader-boards. At first place, we have LuckySSL scoring 1,333,333 points which is no wonder he/she is one of the highest ranking players in the EN Server. The rest are not too far behind either with everyone in the Top 5 having a score of 1,000,000 and above. Impressive stuff as usual from the top scorers!

Moving onto Tier 1, the cutoff for 1100th position went slightly above the predicted 140,000 points cutoff. Nevertheless, 140,069 points is not too far off and considering the final reward comes in at 125,000 points, it is not too bad of an investment to achieve Tier 1 for this event.

Next up, we have the highly competitive Tier 2 bracket with the final 5500th position going to Noriko with 85,630 points. Surprisingly, the cutoff for Tier 2 actually fell below the predicted cutoff of 90,000 points.

Successfully qualify for Tier 2 and these are the rewards you would expect to receive in your Present Box. Tier 1 differs with the addition of three SR Mari(s) instead of two.

Before we take a closer look at Mari, here is the event's N member, Yuki Sana.

And here is a look at the card version. Oddly enough, she does not seem to be following the "Diving" theme for the event. That being said, there has been several occasions where the N member did not correspond with the event's theme.

Now for the star of the show, SR Diving Mari. At Level 1, this Smile Attribute SR sports 3,700 Smile Points and a Perfect Lock skill. Her Perfect Lock skill may sound complicated but, in essence it is a low/moderate chance of triggering skill with a long timing window (3.5 seconds).

But more than her skills, what makes Diving Mari so impressive are her stats. At Level 60, her Smile Points grows to 4,530 points. No changes otherwise as that would require idolization first.

A closer look at the un-idolized SR Diving Mari before we put her through Special Practice.

For Special Practice, never forget to place the higher leveled member in the above slot and whenever possible, try to use an identical member instead of stickers.

Tadah! SR Diving Mari has arrived!

With the extra 20 levels, Mari's Smile Points grow further to 4,810 Smile Points at Level 80. In addition to that, her Max Bond rises to 500 and she gains an additional Skill Slot. All of these culminate to make Mari the second strongest Event Smile SR to date. Couple that with her Perfect Lock skill and you have yourself one very powerful card indeed.

Lastly, here is a closer look at the idolized SR Diving Mari. Purple really seems to suit Mari despite conventional wisdom which dictates that it would clash with her blonde hair.

With this event having come to a close, we now get a short break before the next event begins. When exactly will that be? No one knows exactly but, rest assured it will be some time next week. Until then, thank you so much for reading and have yourself a wonderful day ahead!
