SIF Coverage - One Dreamy Night

In the midst of Tiro Finale's Gaming Week, a new event has begun has begun on SIF's EN server. This time, the rotation shifts around to Aquors with a double-SR event highlighting Ruby and Yoshiko. Running for ten days from the 15th till the 24th of February, the event entitled "One Dreamy Night" is a Token Event focusing on a Gothic theme. Things promise to be very interesting as we have yet to see such a combination of character, themes and event before. Without further ado, let us take a look at the rewards for this Token Event!

 Being a double-SR event, the first SR (Yoshiko) is unlocked via earning Event Points. While, the second SR (Ruby) is unlocked via Event Rankings ergo the usual Tier 1 and 2 competition. To unlock your first copy of SR Gothic Dress Yoshiko, you will have to earn 11,000 event points. Fairly easy and straightforward for most players.

The next challenge comes in earning 25,000 Event Points. In which case, players will unlock another copy of SR Yoshiko allowing them to idolize her. No doubt many players, including those not aiming to tier, would be playing to reach this point as a "free" idolized SR is nothing to scoff at.

The real challenge comes in unlocking the third copy of SR Yoshiko which then requires 40,000 Event Points. This is nearly four times what players will have to accumulate to get the first SR. Keeping in mind the new Live system (variable LP per Live) and this being the first event to feature it, we may see players hit this target much quicker than expected. In fact, I predict the cutoffs for Tier 2 to even exceed this figure!

Onto SR Ruby, things stay very much the same with Tier 1 and 2 being the positions you want to qualify for if you want to idolize the event SR. How competitive will this event be with the new Live system? Only time will tell.

One thing that did change though is the Score Ranking Reward where the usual Event N Member and Scouting Tickets/Love Gems have been replaced in favor of Stickers. While I do not actually like this change, it does remove the pay-to-win aspect of SIF. Previously, players with powerful UR squads would frequently populate the top of the lists. But with this change, the rewards gained are not as lucrative anymore. At least, that is one way of looking at it.

Of course, being a Token Event, there must be an Event Song. This time, it is "Guilty Night, Guilty Kiss" by, well, Guilty Kiss. The tokens for this event are Roses with not much else having changed.
